In the morning, the event will feature a job fair format where candidates are free to talk with representatives on an informal basis from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. Where there is a mutual interest, there will be opportunities for education recruiters to schedule half hour individual interviews from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.
- Participants will be asked to sign in when they arrive.
- Eligibility: Minimum of a BA or BS degree and an interest in teaching under provisional licensure. VA State Licensure and/or M.Ed. preferred.
- Open to Mason students, students from DC Consortium schools and other qualified and interested candidates.
- School Systems Participating (Check regularly for updated list.)
- Dress: Dress professionally. Bring a plentiful supply of your resumes and come early to assure that you have ample time to talk with representatives from the school systems in which you are interested.
- Resume Critiquing Service for Mason students: Call University Career Services to make an appointment with Virginia Wheeler or another career counselor to have your resume critiqued. You may also drop off your resume at the Career Services front desk, to be critiqued, which will take at least 3 business days before it is ready to be picked up in our office.
