9 - 11:30 a.m.: job fair portion
Noon - 4 p.m.: individual interviews

Education Recruitment Day is an opportunity for graduating teachers and school counselors, in addition to graduating BS / BA students, interested in teaching, to mingle and discuss opportunities with education recruiters from school systems from the Washington metropolitan area and surrounding regions.

In the morning, the event will feature a job fair format where candidates are free to talk with representatives on an informal basis from 9 - 11 a.m. Where there is mutual interest, education recruiters can schedule half hour individual interviews from Noon to 4 p.m.

Please note: If you are a Fairfax County Public Schools intern, it is not necessary for you to attempt to obtain an interview with FCPS at Education Recruitment Day. All Fairfax County interns are exempt from an initial interview with FCPS. The internship itself satisfies the initial interview requirement. Fairfax County interns do not need to seek an interview with FCPS on Education Recruitment Day in order to apply for jobs with that school division.
