Interested in a career with the State Department?  Want to learn more about how to get your master's degree paid for? Pickering Fellowship Officers will be on campus to answer your questions in advance of the January application deadline.

Funded by the U.S. Department of State and administered by The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars, the Thomas R. Pickering Fellowship Program provides graduate students with financial support, mentoring and professional development to prepare them academically and professionally for a career with the U.S. Foreign Service.

Alumni and seniors are eligible to apply this year; juniors welcome to get information to prepare for next year. Women, members of historically underrepresented groups in the Foreign Service, and students with financial need are encouraged to apply.
