your Student ID and password (generated and sent to you by e-mail). |

are required to update your "profile" at the beginning
of each semester to remain active. |

must be registered in PatriotJobWeb to participate in the On-campus
Interview program the Cooperative Education program.

to register for PatriotJobWeb? |

| |
- To
register for PatriotJobWeb services, Mason students and alumni
must complete and submit a registration form. Currently
enrolled Mason students register for FREE.
Mason alumni pay a one-time $10 registration fee.
Download the registration form or pick up a form in University
Career Services, SOM Student Services or SPP Career Services.
To download the registration form, you will need Adobe Acrobat
Reader. (If you do not already have Adobe
Acrobat Reader, you can download
a free copy.)
Complete the form and submit to one of the offices below:

Alumni,
please also submit your $10 (cash or check). Make checks payable
to George Mason University. Include your student ID or Social
Security number on the check. If you are unable to pay the
fee in person, contact University Career Services, 703-993-2370,
careerhp@gmu.edu for
instructions on paying by mail.
Note:
Your Student ID number will be entered into the system within
one (1) business day. You will receive an e-mail with your
login and password information giving you access to PatriotJobWeb.
- You must
then login to the system to complete each section of your
"profile," upload your resume, and search for positions.
Once logged into the PatriotJobWeb
system, the online "help" is very useful for answering
your software questions.

Software Features:
- the
ability to apply directly online to full-time & part-time
jobs and internships for which you qualify,
- the
ability to create saved searches and receive e-mail alerts
when jobs/internships matching your criteria are posted,
- the
ability to upload resumes, cover letters, unofficial transcripts,
and writing samples,
- the
ability to "publish" your resume in Mason Resume
Books for employers to query.

Resume Builder:
- This
online software guides you through each section of a resume,
allowing you to create a rough draft by providing space for
you to input your information.
- In
order to access Resume Builder, you must have a PatriotJobWeb
(PJW) account.
- Once
you have signed in to PJW, click on documents then on the
Resume Builder tab and follow the directions through each
step.
