Career Shift

CareerShift is an online resource designed to support the #1 request of job seekers: an easy-to-use website to conduct and organize a job search. While other web services provide bits and pieces of the job hunt process, CareerShift provides an all-in-one resource to crack the “hidden job market.” With CareerShift, you can:

  • Search job listings from all public websites, company websites, and newspapers
  • Get the contact information of employees and alumni from millions of companies
  • Upload as many targeted resumes and cover letters as you like

Personality and Skills Assessments

As part of the career exploration process, we offer a formal assessment of personality, skills, and interests via the Strong Interest Inventory, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and the SkillScan Driver. 

All assessments require an appointment, include a one-hour interpretation session with a career counselor.

Revature SPARK

SPARK is designed for graduates of all majors who have little or no prior coding experience, but are interested in a career in technology.

Mason graduates are hired by Revature for SPARK, which consists of 12 weeks of immersive, industry-aligned coding training and dedicated industry mentors to ensure success. 

After completing training, Revature software engineers are hired to work on projects for Fortune 500 clients. Training locations include Washington, DC, Tampa, FL, Morgantown, WV, Dallas, TX, and NYC.
