4 steps to get you started in a career in nonprofit
  1. Volunteer in a non-profit to see how a non-profit organization is structured.
  2. Look at Great Nonprofits and identify 3-5 non-profit issues you are interested in and do some research.
  3. Once you have identified non-profit issues you are interested in, select 3-5 organizations, do research.
  4. Go to a job website and read job descriptions in non-profit organizations. This will assist you in understanding the skills and competencies that are needed.

Grant Writers
