Want to know how to get employers to read your resume? We can help! Each semester before our biggest career fair, we offer two days of one-on-one resume review with employers. This is a walk-in only, first-come-first-served event where we will match you with an employer, career counseling, or industry advisor for a 15-minute resume review.
Throughout the year we spend a week exploring different industries by offering workshops, panel discussions, site visits, networking events, and specialized career fairs. In the fall look for Government Week, and in the spring look for Creative, Nonprofit, and Health and Science Weeks. Industry Weeks are great for students who are still exploring career fields, as well as those who are on a decided track.
Hundreds of employers come to campus every semester in search of Mason talent like you! Fairs are not only a great way to meet recruiters face to face, but also to practice your personal pitch and sharpen your networking skills. Even if you’re not actively looking for a job or internship, you’ll always benefit from attending a career fair.
Participate in a Take a Patriot to Work employer site visit. This is an opportunity for students to observe various roles and activities within an organization. Employers and dates vary by semester.
The On-Campus Interviewing Program offers you a convenient way to interview on-campus with employers from the DC Metro area and across the cross country for full-time, part-time, and internship positions.
