Each interactive presentation helps students make progress toward specific career goals. Presentations are tailored to your group and can be customized for a specific industry, student organization, or current events.

Please submit your request at least TWO WEEKS in advance so we have time to prepare your presentation.

Get a Handshake demo, an overview of career advising, and career resources available to Mason students. This is a great option for UNIV 100 & 101 courses.

Resume Writing (1 hour)
Get expert advice on crafting effective resumes. Includes templates and sample documents!

Resume & Cover Letter Writing (1-1.5 hours)
Gain insights on writing successful resumes. Add on Cover Letters to make this a 90-minute workshop.

Learn to identify potential contacts, make an introduction, and find ways to connect online and in-person.

Interviewing (1 hour)
Get insight into what to do before, during, and after an interview, and develop accomplishment-focused interview responses using the STAR interviewing formula.

Career Assessment (1-1.5 hours)
Complete one of the following: CliftonStrengths, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), SkillScan, Strong Interest Inventory. Then receive feedback as a group.

Discover the four-step job or internship search process and leave with concrete next steps tailored to your career goals.

Let our Peer Career Advising team come to you and help your team write resumes, cover letters, or personal statements. This is a great option for Registered Student Organizations. (Attendees must bring a career-related document to this workshop).
